Something to Share
I read this somewhere today. I want to share this with you all.
“Thank a Teacher” by Bill Gates
Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!
Rule 2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3: You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parents’ generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.
Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

Hello All
Hey guys,
Sorry I have not been here like decades. I did come back from visiting my parents and other family and friends in HK in the beginning of May. Well I have been extremely busy in all aspects of life. Anyway, I won't be blogging here much, not until things in life are more stable and leisure enough to actually pull time out to do blogging. I do, however, keep my facebook as current as possible. I am using that venue now because writing is limited and so as pictures I could upload to there. In other words, it gives me time to do other things in life.
That doesn't mean I quit blogging in Xanga forever. I just can't commit on a return date yet. I can, however, promise that I will be back. Until then, I wish everyone has a wonderful and joyful life. If you want, you can connect to me on facebook. Those who know my real name will have no problem looking me up there.
À tout à l'heure! 再见!

Getting Ready to Fly Out Next Thursday
I know I haven't blogged for a LONG time.
Just have been ultra busy for the last few months since the beginning of the year. Last night I had a work award banquet to attend. Will post pictures later. Those are professional pictures so I might have to wait for a while. One more meeting to go on Tuesday and that's it. I will be flying out of RDU to Hong Kong on Thursday . Hubby just got two biggest luggage down from attic for me. And I have been picking out clothes to pack. I am thinking to pack everything I need in one suitcase and leave the other one empty so I can fill it up with purhases in Hong Kong.
Well, I have to go. So many things to do.
I will be back on May 3rd.
